Our mission
The Lillian Bay Foundation helps children with high-risk vascular malformations access the specialized care they urgently need.
Through a thorough intake process, we prioritize cases based on medical urgency and financial need, ensuring timely access to life-saving treatment.
We work closely with families and medical providers to review medical information, identify the right specialists, and manage all travel and lodging arrangements. Our support continues after surgery, helping families navigate recovery and follow-up care with confidence and peace of mind.
The roadmap
Foundation obtains 501(c)(3) status · initial broad partnerships initiated · fundraising begins (traditional and AI).
Surgical work resumes · board of directors membership completed · mental health and anchor medical institution partnerships identified · education models of excellence work begins · five-year strategic plan developed.
Our goals for this phase: two to three medical intervention procedures per month · three anchor mental health partnerships · five anchor medical institution partnerships in CA, FL and NY · financially self-sustainable · fully staffed · first year of the five-year strategic plan implemented.
